About

Sarah’s teaching is built upon insights which honour the inherent wisdom of the body

...

She believes deeply in a model of health and healing where each individual is an active participant in their own unique journey towards wellness. From her own experiential wisdom, Sarah believes that with the right conditions, healing will occur.

Drawing primarily from the ancient practices of Yoga, Ayurveda and Mindfulness, Sarah invites individuals to identify, accept and release both conscious and unconscious habit patterns in the body, breath and mind that may be inhibiting connection to our most authentic Self. By bringing a deeper awareness to our intrinsic wholeness that resides underneath any symptoms and difficulties, Sarah supports individuals in cultivating a greater capacity to face life’s challenges with steadiness and grace. Sarah believes this recognition is at the heart of living a purposeful, meaningful and joyful Life.

In addition to teaching Yoga Therapy in one-on-one, group, workshop and retreat settings, Sarah has specialized in working as a Birth Doula, Trauma-Informed Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher with New Leaf Yoga Foundation and as a Yoga Therapist in the field of Addictions and Mental Health with Anishinawbe Health Toronto.

Deeply humbled by the initiation of Motherhood, Sarah is particularly passionate about honouring, celebrating and reclaiming the Sacred Feminine. She is a facilitator of Women’s Circles in the Guelph area.
