A Mindfulness Yoga Retreat

This retreat is ideal for new or experienced practitioners as the teachings and practices are accessible and practical to your daily life. All will be given an opportunity to embody mindfulness through a range of different practices including seated meditation, walking, eating, yoga, and other fun surprises. This is a perfect setting for those interested in immersing themselves longer in self-study.

Prenatal Yoga Series – Winter 2017

This 8-week series will combine therapeutic yoga and mindfulness techniques to help support women in developing sensitivity and awareness towards the changes going on within themselves. This awareness can empower women, not only during their pregnancy, but during labour and delivery. Through mindful movement, breath awareness, listening and relaxation techniques, women have the opportunity to cultivate an intimate mind-body connection and create a safe and serene place for baby to develop.

Mindfulness Yoga

This 6-week series will invite you to fully embody the practice of Mindfulness. Through movement, meditation and discussion, practice applying the quality of mindfulness to your breath, body, feelings and mind. In this open, inclusive setting, identify holding patterns in your body and habit patterns in the mind that may be supporting or inhibiting the connection to your most authentic Self. Identifying these patterns with the quality of “bare attention” is the first step towards not only releasing patterns that may be inhibiting, but nurturing a relationship with yourself rooted in kindness and care. In addition to in-class activity, you will be provided with take-home activities to practice integrating Mindfulness into daily life.

This is an accessible, ever-evolving practice. Regardless of whether this is your first experience with yoga or mindfulness or you are a seasoned practitioner, this workshop will invite you to either begin to continue to evolve your practice.

Home with a new baby? This 6-week series is designed to support the physical, physiological and emotional changes unique to women postpartum, all in a baby-inclusive environment. This safe, open environment is not only a wonderful place to connect inward and with baby, but also with other mothers in the community.
