Sarah’s teaching is rooted in the belief that we have everything we need to heal already inside of us. Through the practice of yoga and the science of Ayurveda, she invites students to identify, accept and release both conscious and unconscious habit patterns in the body, breath and mind that may be inhibiting our connection to our most authentic Self. Through her own experiential wisdom, Sarah holds a deep faith that if the right conditions are created, healing will occur.
Sarah understands yoga as relationship. By deepening intimacy with our own true nature, we naturally move towards greater intimacy with the world around us. It is through this understanding of interconnection that we begin to recognize the sacredness of all Life. Sarah believes that this recognition is at the heart of living a purposeful, meaningful and joyful Life.
Having recently moved from Toronto, Ontario, Sarah is thrilled to be bringing her practice to the warmth of the Okanagan valley. In addition to teaching Yoga in one-on-one, group, workshop and retreat settings, Sarah has specialized in working as a Birth Doula, Trauma-Informed Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher with New Leaf Yoga Foundation and as a Yoga Therapist in the field of Addictions and Mental Health with Anishinawbe Health Toronto.
